Most doctors will prescribe you with some medication which is officially known as levothyroxine. This is a synthetic T4 and it will help massively toward getting your levels of thyroid hormone back to the normal level. This will boost up your metabolism which will of course mean that your body will burn that much more calories over the course of a day.
