(1) Since then even more research has been done proving that blueberries have some amazing qualities, such as anti-aging properties.

As time goes on our minds tend to go. Luckily blueberries have been proven to improve memory in the elderly. (2) Blueberries are blue because they contain anthocyanin which is a purpley-blue pigment with antioxidative properties. Some scientists believe that the anthocyanin is part of what give blueberries all their amazing health properties. (3) Blueberries not only help with memory retention but also with preventing brain damage. A recent study showed that rats that ate lots of blueberries were able to use 20% more of their neurons after having a stroke than normal rats. (4) If this is any indication of how the human mind works I would strongly suggest eating more blueberries.
